Old School RuneScape is heading into another busy period, with Jagex continuing to add new quests, training methods, rewards and quality-of-life improvements throughout its 25th anniversary year. The latest OSRS news is increasingly focused on The Graveyard, an upcoming Master-level quest that is already attracting attention because of its new Agility content and reward plans OSRS gold. At the same time, recent updates have added new dogs through A Ruff Situation, while Jagex has continued making smaller improvements across the game. For players wondering what is coming next in OSRS, there are several developments worth watching right now. The Graveyard Is the Next Major OSRS Quest The biggest upcoming content story is The Graveyard, a new Master-level quest planned for November. Jagex has deliberately kept much of the quest's story details under wraps, but the development information released so far has revealed an important new Agility activity. The quest will introduce a hybrid Agility course located inside a dark underwater cavern filled with shipwrecks. The planned course is aimed at players around 65–80 Agility, giving mid-to-high-level players another training option. According to development details, the course will combine more relaxed rooftop-style sections with areas that offer different routes and movement choices. The developers have also taken inspiration from mechanics that received positive feedback during Leagues VI. That makes The Graveyard more than just another quest release. Players who enjoy skilling may have a reason to return to the area long after completing the quest itself. A New Way to Earn Marks of Grace One of the most interesting details surrounding The Graveyard is its planned Marks of Grace reward potential. Jagex has stated that the new course is intended to become the best source of Marks of Grace in the game. That could make the activity especially relevant for players working toward Graceful-related goals or simply looking for a different way to train Agility while collecting useful rewards. The course will also provide another potential route for players hunting the Squirrel pet. Jagex has described it as a competitive alternative to the Penguin Agility Course for pet hunters. This creates several search opportunities around the upcoming update, including OSRS The Graveyard rewards, OSRS Marks of Grace, OSRS Agility training and OSRS Squirrel pet methods. A Ruff Situation Adds Dogs to OSRS The Graveyard is not the only recent quest generating interest. Earlier in September, Jagex released A Ruff Situation, a new novice quest centered around a dog shelter and the stray dog storyline in Varrock. The members-only quest requires 15 Crafting and introduces a dozen dog breeds to Gielinor. Players can gain access to puppies that can eventually grow into dogs, and the new companions have an additional gameplay feature: they can dig for clue scrolls during Treasure Trails. The update also rewards players with 1,000 Crafting XP and a Quest Point. For players searching for something more casual than high-level PvM, A Ruff Situation has become one of the more accessible pieces of new OSRS content released recently. OSRS Continues to Clean Up the Game Alongside new quests, Jagex is still working on smaller improvements. The September 16 Summer Sweep-Up update included pet behavior improvements and Z-buffer fixes, showing that the development team is continuing to address technical and quality-of-life issues alongside major content releases. That balance is important for OSRS because major updates tend to generate attention, while smaller fixes can have a more immediate effect on everyday gameplay. The official OSRS site also currently highlights The Graveyard rewards blog among its latest news, confirming that the upcoming quest is one of the game's main development stories heading into the next content cycle. What OSRS Players Should Watch Next The immediate focus is likely to remain on The Graveyard, particularly as Jagex reveals more information before its November release. The combination of a Master-level quest, a new Agility course, Marks of Grace rewards and another potential Squirrel hunting method gives the update relevance across several different player groups buy RuneScape gold. Meanwhile, players can already experience A Ruff Situation and its new dog companions, while recent quality-of-life changes continue to improve the wider game. OSRS has therefore entered an interesting late-September period: there is fresh content available now, another major quest approaching, and several skill-focused changes that could affect how players train in the months ahead. For anyone following OSRS latest news, The Graveyard is currently the update to keep an eye on. |
